Nonprofit Outreach Campaign
Challenge
Casey Family Programs, the nation’s largest foundation focused on foster care, had issued a directive to triple the number of teens placed in foster homes in six months. Traditional recruitment channels were underperforming, and the Oakland field office needed help attracting new foster families of all ethnicities.
Solution
Planned and managed an inspirational multimedia Bay Area outreach campaign in collaboration with Flyin’ West, using print, radio, TV, outdoor and transit ads. Campaign images and messages were designed to connect with both English and Spanish-speaking families.
Recruitment goals were exceeded, and inbound calls reached unprecedented levels. A year later, calls remained at five times the pre-campaign level.
